Professor Sir Ian Kennedy is Emeritus Professor of Health Law, Ethics and Policy at University College London. In 2009 he chaired the Nuffield Council on Bioethics and is currently Chair of the UK Research Integrity Office, whose remit covers the proper conduct of research in universities and other research organisations.
