Research Day 2011 – Prof Sir Ian Kennedy on medical ethics

Saving Faces – Research Opportunities Day – July 2011

Professor Sir Ian Kennedy is Emeritus Professor of Health Law, Ethics and Policy at University College London. In 2009 he chaired the Nuffield Council on Bioethics and is currently Chair of the UK Research Integrity Office, whose remit covers the proper conduct of research in universities and other research organisations. This talk was given on the 8th of July 2011 as part of a research opportunities day organised by Saving Faces. The aim of the day was to make specialist doctors in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery aware of current research under-way in their field and highlight ways in which they could become involved.
